"The VIolinist" is set with February 2008 start date in Chicago and/or Canada, and Prague, along with two other films.

Noci Pictures Entertainment, a film finance, production, and distribution company has structured the financing on 3 independent films including "Layers", "The Violinist", and "Fools Die"

"The Violinist" is based on several true stories about a young boy who comes to Chicago in the early 1970's during the largest Eastern European immigration wave since the times of Ellis Island. He is growing up with aspirations of being a concert violinist but a series of misfortunate events push him into organized crime as an adult. After ten years working as an enforcer for a Chicago Russian crime syndicate, he wants out.


The deals have an innovative tax credit monetization and equity structure that will cover a primary portion of the budgets along with international film pre-sales, advances, and minimum guarantees. The Company may also seek a United States distribution deal prior to production.

"The Violinist", which is the first film has an estimated start date of December that will be subject to availability of certain A-list actors as well as the close of foreign and/or domestic distribution as part of the Company's risk minimization strategy for its financial partners.

The Company ia currently in the process of making offers to A-List talent and looks towards the upside potential of "The Violinist" to open at a major film festival such as Cannes, Toronoto, Sundance, Venice, Berlin, etc.

The Company feels confident that the subject matter of the "The Violinist", with its potential international commercial and critical apeal is also the kind of film in the line of "The Departed", "Goodfellas","Once Upon A Time In America", "Casino", "Godfather", etc that can have the potential to be an Academy Award nominee in any number of categories.
